It was inspiring to meet so many innovators, partners, and industry professionals who are shaping the future of robotics and automation.
At Micro Technic, we are proud to contribute to an industry where technology, collaboration, and practical innovation go hand in hand. Events like this remind us how fast the field is evolving – and how important it is to stay curious, connected, and open to new ideas.
A special thank you to Martin Brems, who hosted an engaging workshop together with our CEO, Frank Max Laursen, and shared insights on the Clarity Gap Model and the opportunities ahead for robotics in manufacturing and beyond.
And thank you to Odense Robotics, the entire team behind the event, Erhvervshus Fyn, and Invest In Odense for making it happen.
We left Odense energized, inspired, and excited for what’s next.

Our CTO & Creative Director, Anders Qvistgaard Sørensen, and our SBU Manager, Sebastian E. Barnkob, helped shape the course by providing cases and supervising the students.
We had the opportunity to guide two groups of five students, each working hands-on with real-life cases from our Skylark portfolio.
Skylark Agro: The first group explored our Skylark Agro solution, developed by our engineers to monitor crops and support agriculture. Building on customer interviews about the current version, the students created a new prototype based on user feedback, theory, and close collaboration. Their aim was to uncover new ways to support crop care from harvest to end user.
Skylark AnyScent: The second group worked with Skylark AnyScent and investigated the desired effect, reception, and real-world use. Skylark AnyScent is a discreet care technology designed to support caregivers and help create safer environments in nursing homes. The students focused on market potential and how the solution can improve workflows and the working environment for nurses and caretakers.
Both projects shared the overall theme of impact – and we are proud to contribute with real cases where technology developed in Denmark can make a difference in both agriculture and care.
Thank you to IT-Universitetet i København for having us.
And a big thank you to all the students for an inspirational collaboration!

On May 6, our CEO Frank Max Laursen and Martin Brems will share practical perspectives on navigating the market when you have a strong product and strong engineering – but growth still doesn’t follow.
We’ll discuss how to create growth by aligning strategy, sales, and marketing – and how to move from “great product” to “scaled adoption.”
Watch the short video below where we introduce the core ideas of the workshop!
“Your technology is not the problem – your strategy is.”
You can learn more about this on May 6th at NextGen Robotics Live from 14.30 – 15.30. You can participate for free at Europe’s new and influential robot- and AI conference with more than 800 participants. You can attend the whole conference with lunch included.
